The Joint Lincolnshire Flood & Water Management partnership will be represented to highlight the collaborative county wide working arrangements for flood risk and water resource activities. This will include the promotion of two key projects. These are Project Groundwater, one of 25 Defra funded schemes set up as part of the national Flood & Coastal Innovation Programme to look at the impacts and opportunities of groundwater flooding within four trial communities, and the Lincolnshire Riparian project which, in partnership, is exploring how a more robust and sustainable approach to reducing flood risk from riparian assets can be implemented.
