The Atlas 150W Spotlight
The tried, tested and well trusted Atlas 150W wheeled excavator is at home with long term TDL Equipment customers such as Witham First District IDB, who have run the German built brand for more than 30 years. Their particular 150W offers power and extra reach thanks to the Mastonbroek hydraulically operated extending dipper, which takes the standard reach of 10m to an extended reach of 12m, whilst retracting to a suitable position for convenient travel. The wider 710/45-22.5 tyres provide excellent stability on unforgiving ground.
Bespoke to your requirements
The Atlas 150W wheeled excavator run by Witham IDB’s also boasts a bespoke extra capacity fuel tank, made and installed by TDL Equipment. At 167L, the increased tank size gives the firm flexibility when working away from base. But that’s not all, for extra safety, the Atlas 150W is fitted with the X Watch XW4TH offering TAB boom height and slew restrictor ensuring safe and stable operation.
Atlas 140W BIGFOOT Spotlight
Another long standing TDL Equipment customer DC & R Bichan Excavations and Ditching Contractors have run Atlas machines since 1995. One of their most recent machines was the formidable Atlas 140W BIGFOOT, described as “something else!” by operator Richard himself. Often working on soft, fine sand, Bigfoot offers serious traction and stability thanks to its large footprint.
